The Cabinet of Ministers will appeal against a ruling by Kyiv's District Administrative Court to ban Ulana Suprun from serving as Ukraine's acting health minister, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleksandr Sayenko has told Ukrinform.

"The said court ruling will be appealed in accordance with the established procedure and, if there are grounds, a complaint will be filed to the High Council of Justice," he said.

According to Sayenko, the government will discuss this situation in the near future.

He also added: "Over the past two years, Ulana Suprun, with the support of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groisman, has launched a series of reforms that have already led to global qualitative changes in the health care system."

Earlier, Kyiv's District Administrative Court partially satisfied a statement by Radical Party MP Ihor Mosiychuk and banned Suprun from exercising the powers of the health minister.

On February 4, Suprun called Mosiychuk's lawsuit another "attack on the transformation of the health care system."
