Ukrainian, Turkish foreign ministers to hold talks in Odesa on Feb. 1

On February 1, the Seventh Meeting of the Ukrainian-Turkish Joint Strategic Planning Group will be held in Odesa under the chairmanship of Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu.

"The parties will sum up the results of the cooperation in 2018, determine the priorities and tasks for the current year. The ministers will exchange views on a wide range of regional and international issues," the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.

The foreign ministers will also exchange views and assessments on the process of militarization of Crimea and human rights violations by the occupation authorities on the peninsula, as well as the development of a security situation in the region of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov and in the Middle East, counteraction to Russian aggression in Donbas and initiatives for a peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine.

The Ukrainian and Turkish foreign ministers will hold a joint press conference after the completion of negotiations.
