Poroshenko invites Netanyahu to visit Ukraine and speak at parliament

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko invited Prime Minister of the State of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Ukraine and speak at the Verkhovna Rada.

He stated this during a joint briefing with Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Monday, the press service of the head of state reported.

“I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to visit Ukraine and speak at our parliament,” the Ukrainian president told the Israeli prime minister.

Poroshenko also said that he together with Netanyahu planned to visit Odesa and show "the international unity of our peoples" there.

As reported, President Poroshenko was on an official visit to Israel January 20-21. During the visit, the free trade agreement between Ukraine and Israel was signed.
