Poroshenko signs law on medium-term budget planning

The relevant report was posted on the website of the Verkhovna Rada.

It is noted that the law was passed by the Ukrainian parliament on December 6, 2018.

According to an explanatory note, the law was developed in order to create the legal basis for the introduction of medium-term budget planning, the further development of the program-target method, as well as the improvement of certain norms of the Budget Code of Ukraine, which regulate relations arising in the process of budget execution, reporting on their implementation, and control over the observance of budget legislation, as well as responsibility for violations of budget legislation.
