The establishment of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was one of the most important events in 2018, President Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.
"For Ukraine, the year 2018 was extremely important and eventful. In particular, the Orthodox Church of Ukraine was created; we continued to strengthen our army and international support for Ukraine; the slogan "Glory to Ukraine!" became an official greeting of our military," the head of state wrote.
However, the most important thing is that we have withstood and become stronger despite the evil plans and actions of the aggressor country.
“I am proud that together with you I took part in these historical events,” the president stressed.
