The Cabinet of Ministers has approved five priority areas of work for 2019, including economic growth, human capital development, the fight against corruption, public administration and issues of the security and defense sector.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated this at a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today I have an opportunity to present the action plan based on five key priorities. The first priority is strengthening economic growth in 2019, the second priority is efficient governance, public administration, the third priority and one of the key issues is human capital development, the fourth priority is the rule of law and the fight against corruption, the fifth priority and one of the fundamental is the security and defense of our state," he said.

According to Groysman, since the formation of the current government, the action plan of the Cabinet of Ministers has been adopted until 2020 inclusive, and since then, officials every year approve an annual operational program of actions and report quarterly and every six months on the results.
