"Today we can say that the national legislation on the anti-corruption court has been elaborated, the selection of independent judges is underway. In fact, Ukraine will have an independent anti-corruption court in the first quarter of 2019. It is an important step in strengthening the rule of law," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at a joint press conference with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini in Brussels, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Ukraine views the European Union as a strategic partner and is committed to continuation of the reforms to integrate into the European standards, the Ukrainian PM emphasized.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law of Ukraine "On the High Anti-Corruption Court" on June 7.
