Poroshenko approves Ukraine's state budget for 2019

President Petro Poroshenko has said that he has signed the law on Ukraine's state budget for 2019.

He said this in his speech at the 2nd Ukrainian Women's Congress in Kyiv on Friday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I signed have the budget there," the president said.

As was reported earlier, on December 5, Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy signed the law on Ukraine's state budget for 2019.

On November 23, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law on Ukraine's state budget for 2019.

The document stipulates that GDP growth will reach 3% in 2019, with inflation projected at 7.4%. The minimum wage will grow to UAH 4,172 from January 1. The living wage will increase to UAH 1,936 from July 1 and to UAH 2,207 from December 1.
