Government appoints deputy finance minister for European integration

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Yuriy Heletiy as Deputy Finance Minister for European Integration.

This is stipulated in the corresponding government’s order, No.940-r, as of December 5, 2018, according to the Government portal.

"To appoint Yuriy Heletiy as Deputy Finance Minister of Ukraine for European Integration," reads the order.

According to the Finance Ministry, Heletiy will be responsible for three key areas: the reform of the public finance management system, cooperation programs with international financial institutions and the management of state-owned banks.

On July 4, 2018, Yuriy Heletiy was appointed as Deputy Finance Minister. Being on this position, he worked on the strategy for developing the state banking sector, managing and reforming state banks, the non-banking sector and public investment and innovation.
