Croatia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Marija Pejčinović Burić, stated this during the 25th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan.
"We are deeply concerned about the current events in Ukraine, primarily in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait, which are directly related to the illegal annexation of Crimea," she said.
The Croatian minister noted the importance of respecting international law and international norms in order to restore security and stability.
"In this regard, we support the diplomatic efforts that are still ongoing, including those within the framework of the Normandy Group," the minister said.
She emphasized that Croatia remained committed to supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
