President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko relies on support of U.S. President Donald Trump during the G20 summit.

“There are two versions. The first is the Normandy format, the Minsk agreements, the de-escalation of the situation in the Sea of Azov, the de-occupation of Crimea, and many other things. However, this can be done in a few words: ‘Get out from Ukraine, Mr. Putin’,” Poroshenko said in an interview with the American NBC News, when asked whether he expects the U.S. leader to inform the Russian president about his stance on Ukraine, the press service of the President of Ukraine reports.

In this context, Poroshenko reminded of his previous meetings with President Trump and stressed that he had received a firm stance on Trump’s support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine and the struggle for freedom and democracy.

“I rely on the United States in this situation,” the President of Ukraine said.

He also noted that one of possible options of support for Ukraine’s could be the entry of several NATO ships into the Black Sea.

The purpose of imposition of the martial law in several regions of Ukraine is protection, and Ukraine does not intend to resort to military actions directed against anyone, the President noted.

Poroshenko underscored that Ukraine should be ready for Russian aggression.

"The occupation of the sea is the real goal of Russia. It is the beginning of aggression. It is not just an attack on two Ukrainian light-class military boats and one tug boat. It is the aggression in the Sea of Azov," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
