VR approves bill on strengthening cybersecurity of Central Election Commission

The Verkhovna Rada supported the bill on the protection of information resources of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in the context of constant cyberattacks.

A total of 253 MPs voted for draft law No.8496 on amendments to Annex No.3 to the Law of Ukraine "On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2018," according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

The draft law will ensure the reliable and uninterrupted operation of information resources of the Central Election Commission, as well as additional measures to provide safety of these resources during the preparations and holding of elections in 2019.
