President introduces new chairman of Cherkasy Regional State Administration

During the working visit to Cherkasy region, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko introduced new Head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration Oleksandr Velbivets, the president’s press service reports.
Poroshenko said that Oleksandr Velbivets had worked for three years as Chairman of the Cherkasy Regional Council and that he has support of the President.
Poroshenko also thanked Yuriy Tkachenko, the former governor of the region. "I would like to express gratitude for everything Yuriy did in Cherkasy and for Cherkasy. We agreed that he will have another, very responsible area of work," he said.
