MPs Boyko and Lyovochkin expelled from Opposition Bloc

Members of the political party Opposition Bloc Yuriy Boyko and Serhiy Lyovochkin have been expelled from the parliamentary Opposition Bloc faction.

Co-chairman of the Opposition Bloc faction Oleksandr Vilkul stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Half an hour ago a sitting of the Opposition Bloc faction ended, during which Yuriy Boyko and Serhiy Lyovochkin were expelled from the faction,” he said.

At the same time, Vilkul did not tell the reasons for such a decision of the faction.

Yuriy Boyko was a co-chairman of the faction, Lyovochkin was a deputy chairman of the faction.
