NATO PA stands for clear membership perspective for Ukraine
This is stated in a special report of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly entitled "Countering Russia's Hybrid Threats: An Update," an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova, as well as Western Balkan countries, should be given a clear membership perspective both in NATO and the EU. Their accession should be based solely on their implementation of membership criteria," the report says.
The document also calls for solving the problem of "grey zones" in Eastern Europe.
"To limit the space for Russian hybrid warfare, the problem of 'grey zones' in Eastern Europe must be addressed. Leaving Eastern European countries in limbo is an invitation for further Russian aggression and further tensions with the West," the author of the report, British MP Lord Jopling, said.
