Groysman, Merkel to meet in Kyiv on November 1

“On November 1, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman will hold a meeting with German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel,” the press service of the Government portal reported.

The meeting will take place at the building of the Cabinet of Ministers.

As reported, Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel will arrive in Kyiv on November 1. The visit of the German Chancellor to Ukraine will be the second in the last four years. The previous visit took place in August 2014.

The Chancellor will also meet with President Petro Poroshenko. Among the main topics of discussion will be certain steps to strengthen the Ukrainian-German partnership. Also, considerable attention will be paid to the situation in Donbas, occupied Crimea, waters of the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait.
