The European Union remains committed to providing further budget support for the public administration reform in Ukraine.

The EU remains committed to providing further Budget Support of which EUR 15.5 million were released in 2018 based on good results achieved," reads the statement of the EU Delegation to Ukraine on Facebook.

The European Union welcomed the efforts of the Government of Ukraine to update the strategy of the public administration reform according to the OECD/SIGMA recommendations and the review of progress so far.

“The EU particularly supports the advanced setup of the recruitment and selection of the new civil servants within Reform Staff Posts mechanism. This needs to be supported by speedier reorganization in participating ministries,” the EU Delegation to Ukraine stressed.

SIGMA (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management) is one of the most prestigious think tanks of the European Union, created at the initiative of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and the European Union.
