In a post on his Facebook page, Kuts wrote: “To increase the capacity of local self-government, both financial and project; to stimulate the development of managerial resources at the community level; to support the process of decentralization and active involvement in the public life of temporarily displaced persons and national minorities. Such areas of joint work were determined during the meeting with the delegation of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine, headed by Daniel Popescu.”
Kuts also said that the Donetsk Regional Military and Civil Administration elaborated a strategy for the development of the region and created an investment passport, which would be represented at a donor conference soon.
During the meeting, the officials also discussed the cooperation in the development of interregional exchanges and positive practices of communities. Kuts noted the importance of the coordination of actions of various international organizations.
The governor of Donetsk region thanked representatives of the Council of Europe for the cooperation and support of the European aspirations of Ukraine and expressed confidence that it would only grow in the future.
