Ukraine 99.4% ready for heating season – Zubko

"The level of readiness [for the heating season] is 99.4%. The level of conducted payments, as in the previous year, amounts to 88%. But the amount of funds that makes up these 12% has increased, because the cost of services has increased. We should work with the population so that to raise the level of payment for services, we should work on the issue of energy efficiency so that to reduce consumption," Zubko said this during a conference call, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

He also stressed that starting from 2015 the same regions have shortcomings during preparations for the heating season.
