Kyiv's Solomiansky District Court has selected a preventive measure for Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan, who is suspected of illegal enrichment, in the form of personal guarantees provided by Ukrainian Youth and Sports Minister Ihor Zhdanov and MP Fedir Bendiuzhenko and released him from the courtroom.

Judge Hanna Serhiyenko read out the operative part of the court decision on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"To apply to Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Omelyan a preventive measure in the form of personal guarantees. To oblige the guarantors - Ukrainian Youth and Sports Minister Ihor Oleksandrovych Zhdanov and People's Deputy Fedir Volodymyrovych Bendiuzhenko - to ensure the performance of duties by Volodymyr Volodymyrovych Omelyan," the judge said.

In addition, the court ordered Omelyan to hand over to the relevant authorities all his passports for traveling abroad.
