UN Human Rights Council to consider situation in Ukraine on Sept. 25

On September 25, the UN Human Rights Council plans to hear a report on the situation in Ukraine.

This issue was included into the agenda of the 39th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.

As noted, the UN Human Rights Council will hear an "oral report by the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine, after that there will be a statement by the country to which the report relates and an interactive dialogue."

The oral report on the situation in Ukraine is scheduled for September 25.

This year, the 39th session of the UN Human Rights Council is held from September 10 to 28.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin stated that Ukraine plans to raise at the UN General Assembly in September the issue of political prisoners of the Kremlin, the persecution of Crimean Tatars and pro-Ukrainian views in the occupied Crimea.
