Poroshenko: Parliament should renew composition of Central Election Commission

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko insists that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine should renew the composition of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
"The Verkhovna Rada should consider my presidential submission, which has been in the parliament for more than a year, and elect a new composition of the Central Election Commission," Poroshenko posted on Facebook.
He stressed that renewal of the CEC was important not only for creating the united territorial communities but also for ensuring free, transparent and fair presidential and parliamentary elections next year.
As reported, on January 23, President Poroshenko signed a submission appointing new members of the Central Election Commission.
