Groysman assures that heating season will start on time

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that heating season in the country will start without any delays.
“The country is ready for the heating season. Municipal authorities are responsible for the timely supply of gas. I do not see any problems. There are enough reserves in gas storages, there are no problems with electricity,” Groysman said during Government Question Hour meeting held in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He recalled that the government is negotiating with the International Monetary Fund about the optimal gas price for the population.
"I want to assure that from the beginning of the heating season we will do everything to protect Ukrainian citizens who need the assistance through the subsidy mechanism," Groysman said.
