Ukrainian parliament ratifies trade agreement with Thailand

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has ratified a trade agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand.

A total of 241 MPs voted for the adoption of the relevant bill, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

The ratification of the trade agreement will promote the development of bilateral trade and economic relations and the activation of business circles of both countries through the creation of joint ventures in the territories of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Thailand, both for their domestic markets and for the markets of third countries, as well as exchange of visits by delegations and businessmen, holding of trade fairs, exhibitions, information exchange.

The intergovernmental trade agreement with Thailand was signed in Bangkok on June 5, 2017.
