Parliament approves amendments to laws on cross-border cooperation

A total of 236 MPs voted in favor of relevant bill No. 6085, with at least 226 votes required to make a decision, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The bill is included in the package of European integration laws and is aimed at creating legislative grounds for the formation and activities of associations of Euroregional cooperation and the introduction of conditions for state support for projects of such cooperation.

The chairperson of the subcommittee of the Committee for European Integration Oksana Yurynets noted that the adoption of the draft law will ensure the introduction of transparent conditions for cross-border cooperation projects.
