Parliamentary committee developing proposals on information security protection

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information Policy is developing proposals for the protection of Ukraine's internal information space.

Speaker Andriy Parubiy said this at a meeting of the Agenda-Setting Council on Monday, September 3, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Information security is an important issue of the security. And I spoke with the chairperson of the committee, Viktoria Siumar, so that proposals on information security be developed. Because if we are not able to protect our internal information space, it will be difficult for us to talk about protection from external information aggression. Unfortunately, this summer, the internal information space was subjected to attacks, including those from people who openly work for the aggressor country," Parubiy said.
