Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko said this at the first meeting of the Coordinating Council on the implementation of the National Strategy for Waste Management in Ukraine until 2030, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"At present only 2.7% of waste is incinerated in Ukraine, while in the European Union, for example, this figure reaches 26%.
