Poroshenko: Ukraine approaching NATO membership

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko considers membership in NATO a key goal of Ukraine and believes in the success of Ukrainian Euro-Atlantic integration.
"The last summit of the Alliance confirmed that NATO doors are open to Ukraine," Poroshenko posted on Facebook.
He added that Ukraine would continue to carry out deep modernization in institutional, political and economic dimensions as NATO membership is the key goal of Ukraine.
"I’m committed to this goal, I believe in the success of Ukrainian Euro-Atlantic integration, and I am happy because Ukrainian people support this civilized choice," Poroshenko noted.
