Agency for Prevention of Corruption appoints Korchak commissioner for gender equality issues

Natalia Korchak, the former head of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) and a current member of the agency, has been appointed as commissioner for gender equality issues.

The NAPC press service posted this on Facebook.

"Natalia Korchak, a member of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, has been appointed a commissioner (coordinator) for ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, and preventing and combating gender-based violence at the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption," reads the report.

According to the Law of Ukraine "On ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men", commissioners (coordinators), who are responsible for ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, preventing and combating gender-based violence, organize within their authority the work of relevant executive authorities taking into account the principle of equal rights and opportunities for women and men in the relevant field of activity.
