State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Grigoriy Karasin stated this, the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia portal informed.
"The meeting at the level of the political directors of the Normandy Four countries will take place in Berlin at the end of this week, where the further implementation of the Minsk agreements will be discussed. There we'll talk about this," Karasin told reporters, responding to a request to comment on Moscow's position on the possibility of holding a referendum in Donbas.
As reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Russian diplomats that he had offered U.S. President Donald Trump to hold a referendum in order to resolve the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
In turn, Justice Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Petrenko stated that no referendums could be held in the occupied territories.
