President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the United States of America on its Independence Day.
"The USA is a true strategic partner of Ukraine. Happy Independence Day!" the president wrote on his Facebook page.
The Fourth of July - also known as Independence Day - is America’s biggest national holiday. Independence Day celebrates America’s independence from the British Empire. It is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
