Minsk Group plans to meet in two weeks

The next meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) on the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine is scheduled for June 27.

Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), Ambassador Martin Sajdik said this to journalists, BelTA informed.

"The next round of negotiations on the settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine will be held in Minsk on June 27," Sajdik said.

As reported, the Ukrainian side at the TCG’s meeting on June 13 announced its readiness for compromises in order to release Ukrainians held in Russia and ORDLO and also counted on progress in resolving this issue after a telephone conversation between the presidents of Ukraine and the Russian Federation, which was held on June 9.
