They will discuss the implementation of the new law on education, in particular, in part of the article on language, Ukrinform learnt from Zakarpattia Regional State Administration.
"The Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Hungary, Pavlo Klimkin and Péter Szijjártó, will hold consultations with the Hungarian community of Zakarpattia on June 22, in particular, Zakarpattia Regional State Administration warned of this," the report reads.
During the meeting, the parties will discuss the implementation of the new law on education, in particular, the article on language, the press service informed.
The meeting will be also attended by Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych, Minister of Human Resources of Hungary Miklós Kásler and Chairman of the Hungarian Culture Association in Zakarpattia Vasyl Brenzovych.
As reported, the new law on education provides for studying in Ukrainian in schools of national minorities. The Hungarian community of Zakarpattia considers this as restriction of the rights of minorities living in Ukraine.
