Prisoners of Kremlin: Lviv city mayor asks prince of Liechtenstein to address Russian authorities

Lviv city mayor Andriy Sadovyi has handed over a letter to Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, requesting to make an official appeal to the leadership of the Russian Federation regarding the liberation of Oleg Sentsov and about 60 more Ukrainian political prisoners.

"During the meeting with Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, mayor Andriy Sadovyi, in particular, noted the importance of making appeal by Prince Lichtenstein to the leadership of the aggressor country regarding the liberation of Oleg Sentsov and other Ukrainian political prisoners," Lviv City Council Spokeswoman Khrystyna Protsak said.

The mayor also told the prince about major cultural projects held in Lviv, in particular, LvivMozArt and Leopolis Jazz.

In turn, Prince Alois said: "This is our first time in Lviv. We also make a visit to a local orphanage. We have been supporting this humanitarian project lately, as well as other projects related to eastern Ukraine."
