Ukrainian foreign minister to visit Turkey

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will be on a working visit to Turkey's capital Ankara on June 7-8, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has reported.

"The visit will take place as part of joint events being held by Ukraine and Turkey to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people in 1944," the ministry said.

Klimkin is due to hold talks with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Berat Albayrak.

Klimkin is also expected to give an interview to leading Turkish media.
