"The sides discussed ways to intensify interregional cooperation between Ukraine and Spain. Particular emphasis was placed on significant prospects for deepening bilateral investment cooperation, in particular in the context of the implementation of the so-called large and small privatization in Ukraine in 2018," the report says.
It notes that Poroshenko and Feijoo noted the increase in the number of Ukrainians who visit Santiago de Compostela and take part in the pilgrimage to Camino de Santiago (the Way of St. James) every year.
Poroshenko invited Feijoo to visit Kyiv and Lviv.
The Ukrainian president is on an official visit to Spain on June 2-4.
