Pompeo, Szijjarto discuss the need to provide assistance to Ukraine

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held a meeting with Foreign Minister of Hungary Peter Szijjarto in Washington, DC, stressing the need to help Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
This is said in the statement of Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State Heather Nauert, published on the website of the department.
"The Secretary also emphasized the urgent need to help Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression, including the importance of facilitating and supporting Ukraine’s engagement with NATO, and the need to counter Russian malign influence in Central Europe," the statement reads.
It is noted that Pompeo and Szijjarto had agreed to conclude a defense cooperation agreement in the days ahead.
