Stoltenberg can solve Ukraine-Hungary conflict, Polish Foreign Minister believes

Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz believes that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg may intervene in the situation with Hungary's attempt to block Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.

He called the situation with Hungary and Ukraine a "family quarrel", 112.ua reports with reference to Рolsatnews.

"I think it is a family quarrel. It is necessary to examine this issue and propose a solution that would dispel any doubts. Perhaps, the third party is needed, for example, NATO Secretary General. I think he has some tools for solving this issue," Czaputowicz said.

He added that he had discussed this problem with Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó a few days ago.

As reported, Hungary initiated a review of NATO support programs for Ukraine. In particular, the Hungarian government sent a document to the NATO allies, claiming that "the reforms in Ukraine have failed."

In such a way the Hungarian government protests against the language clause of the Ukrainian education law, which entered into force on September 28, 2017. Hungary believes the law violates the rights of the Hungarian minority.
