Poroshenko enforces NSDC decision on Ukraine’s withdrawal from CIS coordinating bodies

President Petro Poroshenko has signed an order to put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine as of May 2 “On the termination of some international agreements for Ukraine concluded within the CIS”.
The relevant decree, No.139, was posted on the website of the President's Administration.
“The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine will be in charge of monitoring the implementation of the NSDC decision enforced by this decree,” reads the document.
The document is dated May 19 and was published on Tuesday, May 22.
As Ukrinform reported, the National Security and Defense Council on May 2 endorsed the proposal to terminate Ukraine's participation in the activities of the CIS coordinating bodies.
