Ukraine will certainly become member of European large family – Poroshenko

The idea of Ukraine's accession to the European Union is supported by at least 70% of our citizens, and our country will certainly become a member of European large family.
President Petro Poroshenko wrote this on his Facebook page.
"Europe has long been not only a geographical category. First of all, Europe means common values of independence, democracy and respect for people and their rights and freedoms. No doubt that Ukrainians are a European nation that has made its civilizational choice - at least 70% of our citizens support the idea of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union," the head of state wrote.
He expresses confidence that Ukraine will certainly become a member of a large family of the European Union.
Today, May 19, Ukraine celebrates Europe Day.
