Kubiv: Ukraine grateful to Poland for continued support for our sovereignty

First Vice Prime Minister – Economic Development and Trade Minister of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv states that Poland remains a strategic trading partner of Ukraine.

He said this in Kyiv during events on the occasion of the 227th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, Ukrinform learnt from his press service.

"Stepan Kubiv has stressed that Poland is a strategic trading partner of Ukraine. He thanked for consistent and unchanged support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and its Euro-integration and Euro-Atlantic aspirations," the report reads.

As reported, the volume of bilateral trade in goods and services between Ukraine and Poland amounted to $6, 5 billion in 2017 and increased by 26.2% compared to 2016. In 2018, the figures continue to grow. Thus, for 2 months of 2018 the trade turnover between Ukraine and Poland amounted to $1, 6 billion and increased by more than 28% or by $236.0 million compared to the same period in 2017.
