Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry is calling for strengthening sanctions against Russia due to the deterioration of the situation in Donbas and the use of Grad system by enemy.

Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa wrote this on Twitter.

"Deterioration in Donbas. 66 attacks, Grads used by Ru&proxies. 4 UA WIA, 2 KIA. Sanctions should be reinforced," Betsa wrote.

As reported, the situation in the Joint Force Operation area in Donbas remained tense over the past day. Russian-occupation forces violated the ceasefire regime 66 times, using mortars, artillery and BM-21 “Grad” multiple rocket launcher systems in 25 cases. About 21:00, the enemy fired Grad systems on Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka. Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and another four were wounded in fighting.
