Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is planning to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron in Aachen on May 10, Germany's international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) has reported.
"On Thursday, May 3, the administration of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko confirmed the president's intention to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel... During the event, the Ukrainian president will also meet with his French counterpart," reads the report.
Ukrinform is trying to find out the details of the visit by the head of state.
The presentation of the International Charlemagne Prize, which was awarded this year to French President Emmanuel Macron for his "vision of a new Europe," will be held in Aachen on May 10.
