Next meeting of Trilateral Contact Group to be held in Minsk on May 4

The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG), Ambassador Martin Sajdik, said this to journalists, BelTA informs.

The diplomat informed that during the negotiations of April 18 the working subgroup on humanitarian issues continued to discuss the exchange of prisoners and the conditions of their detention.

The economic working subgroup discussed further steps necessary to restore the Vodafone-Ukraine mobile communication in certain regions of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. "The group also discussed the payment of pensions and water supply via the Carbonite and Water of Donbas systems," Sajdik added.

The political subgroup continued to discuss the implementation of the so-called Steinmeier formula. It was stressed that the successful work of the subgroup needed interaction with representatives of the Normandy format.
