Kyiv to host Ukraine-Georgia-Moldova interparliamentary assembly in June

Ukraine-Georgia-Moldova Interparliamentary Assembly will be held in Kyiv on June 8-9.

"On June 8-9, we will hold the first meeting of the Ukraine-Georgia-Moldova Interparliamentary Assembly in Kyiv," Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy said at the 11th Kyiv Security Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Parubiy invited speakers of the parliaments of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Romania to participate in the forum to "testify solidarity between the countries."

As reported, on March 2, during the inter-parliamentary conference "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and Current Security Challenges" in Chisinau, the representatives of Moldova and Georgia supported the initiative of Parubiy to create an interparliamentary assembly of the three countries.
