The annual national program under the auspices of the NATO-Ukraine Commission for 2018 provides for creation of an international platform to facilitate the liberation of the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.

This is stated in the text of the annual national program for 2018, published on the website of the President.

"Particular attention is paid to the task of ensuring the continued support of the world community for the policy of non-recognition of the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol by the Russian Federation and the need to strengthen international monitoring of the human rights situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. In this regard, the attention to Crimean issues within the framework of international cooperation should be attracted, as well as creation of an international platform for liberation of the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol should be intensified," the document reads.

Preservation of the existing and introduction of the new special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) on the Russian Federation is defined as the effective instrument for achieving this goal.
