President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko expects Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Kyiv and sign the free trade agreement between the countries.
"As we agreed with the Israeli Prime Minister in Davos in February, the Ukraine-Israel FTA talks have been successfully completed. The conclusion of the agreement will give a powerful impetus to our bilateral trade. I look forward to the visit of my friend Benjamin Netanyahu to Kyiv for signing FTA," Poroshenko wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman announced that Ukraine had completed negotiations on establishment of the free trade area with Israel. The FTA will make exports to Israel cheaper due to cancellation or reduction of import duties and faster due to simplification of customs procedures.
