Oleksandr Manhul elected new chairman of National Agency for Prevention of Corruption

Oleksandr Manhul has been elected as a new head of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC).

Manhul's candidacy was supported by four members of the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Thank you for your support and unanimity," the newly elected chairman of the NAPC said.

Stanislav Patiuk was elected as deputy chairman of the NAPC. The decision was taken unanimously.

According to the law, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption is responsible for monitoring and verifying of declarations of persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local government, storing and publishing of such declarations, monitoring the way of life of these people.
