Representatives of Ukraine and the United Kingdom held consultations on strengthening cooperation in the cybersecurity field.

The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported this on Twitter on Monday, March 19.

"In the face of recent events, #Ukraine deepens interagency cooperation with the #UK in the field of countering cyber threats. The first consultations between Ukraine and the UK started today in London," the report reads.

Ukrinform earlier reported that the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Ukraine Cybersecurity Cooperation Act of 2017 by a majority vote. The vote was held on February 7. To come into force, the document should be voted by the Senate and then approved by the U.S. president.
