Ukraine gives EU partners a list of 140 organizers of election in Crimea and waits for sanctions – Betsa

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry together with other Ukrainian government departments prepared and handed over to the EU countries a list of 140 persons involved in the organization of the so-called Russian presidential election in the occupied Crimea.
Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Mariana Betsa said this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine together with other ministries and departments prepared a list of persons involved in holding the illegal election in Crimea," she noted.
According to her, the Ukrainian side considers this list as a basis for imposing sanctions against these persons.
Betsa also informed that during a meeting in Brussels on Monday, March 19, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin handed over to the foreign ministers of the European Union the list of people who participated in the organization of the illegal presidential election in the occupied Crimea
